Rectification deed

Dear Sir,

I have a site (plot) bought in year 1998. However of late, I came to know that the boundaries have been wrongly recorded. When I contacted the Sub-Registrar, he advised me two options. One, the original seller or alternatively by the order of a court. When contacted the seller to carry out the rectification, he is demanding too much money. And through the court will be a tedious exercise.

Can I do the same through a self declaration deed?

Thanks and regards,

Harish

go through court that shall give you proper title to your land . It may take some time but shall help you while selling the plot.

further process is not cumbersome , collect all proper details of land , with name and ownership title apply to court if you press hard it shall get over quick, in case if there is no urgency than court option is better you shall save your plot through court orders. Nothing is peaceful than court orders.
