Recently at my office in Chennai was broken and cash to the tune of Rs.85,000/- and CCTV Hard Disk and Monitors were stolen.
I filed a complaint with the local police station and after three days the police arrested the cuplrit and informed me that the CCTV and Monitors were thrown into the river and they were able to recover a sum of Rs.36,000 from the culprit and out of the amount I can claim Rs.20,000/- by filing a recovery petition at the local court.
How should I apply ?
Should I engage a lawer for that?
