Recovery of loan

I had given a amount of 110000 rupees to one of my friend and he promised me to pay the amount by 14 Nov 2019, it's been 3 months now still he giving me excuses, I have a cheque of 110000 sign by him at the date of 14 nov 2019 and also a aggrement where clearly written he has borrowed money from me and his pan card and adhar card . Today is 3 March 2020. can you please give me some advice if anything can be done to recover my money soon.

Dear querist,

You can file civil suit for recovery of your amount. Send legal notice and if he fails to comply with notice you can file suit in civil court.

Just present the cheque to bank and if that is bounced ,get the memo and issue legal notice then file complaint U/s 138 NIA. You can sideways also file money recovery suit but that wuill attarct court fee. So better first file for 138 NIA before it is too late....
