Ratification in sale deed

Village name was wrong entry in the deed.Power agent refused to sign in the Rectification deed. The power of attorney accepted to sign. But the Registrar refused and said only the power agent must come and sign in the Rectification deed. we came to know that the power of attorney has the right to correct the Rectification by the Ratification deed. What is your suggestion.Shall we get the guidelines and rule.

Quick Summary
This discussion concerns rectifying an error in a sale deed where the village name was entered incorrectly. The power agent initially refused to sign the rectification deed, but the power of attorney agreed. However, the Registrar insisted only the power agent could sign. It was clarified that a Power of Attorney (POA) does have the right to execute a rectification deed, which must then be registered at the Sub-Registrar's office. The terms 'power agent' and 'power of attorney' were confirmed to refer to the same individual in this context.

The power agent and power of attorney are same.

If you have engaged a new person then what happened to the previous power of attorney deed?
