Can someone please help in this!!!!

PLEASE ADVISE AS TO WHAT AND WHICH BOOKS OR ACT SHOULD I REFER WHILE PREPARING FOR JUDICIAL SERVICES...

 

I HAVE READ THAT ONE SHOULD CONCENTRATE ON CIVIL AND CRIMINAL LAW.....APART FROM ENGLISH AND HINDI...

 

AT LEAST PLEASE SUGGEST ME THE NAME OF BARE ACTS

Judicial exams are state specific and therefore focus should be given on both previous years pattern. Generally the syllabus is designed in manner:-

Substantive law and procedural law are the two main categories within the law. Substantive law refers to the body of rules that determine the rights and obligations of individuals and collective bodies. Procedural law is the body of legal rules that govern the process for determining the rights of parties.

Substantive law refers to all categories of public and private law, including the law of contracts, real property, torts, and Criminal Law. For example, criminal law defines certain behavior as illegal and lists the elements the government must prove to convict a person of a crime.

1. The Constitution of India (prefer to buy a commentory/ compendium)

2.  The Criminal Procedure Code, Civil Procedure Code and the Indian Penal Code

3. Law of Limitation, Arbitration, Transfer of Property and Evidence Law

4. The Contract Act, Partnership Act and Sale of Goods Act
