Quoting a judgement of a lower court in a higher court

Is it ok and advisable to quote judgement of a lower court to support our case in a higher court - our case being separate from the quoted judgement? More specifically, is it ok to quote judgement of a High Court passed in case of another dispute to support our argument in NCDRC?

No it is contrary to law. Since judicial president is to be followed. U can opt 4 HC judgement to support ur case. Thanks
