Query regarding stack parking allotment

Dear sir I am from dombivali, thane dist Maharashtra. I recently purchased a flat in dombivli area and did the registration via sale deed without a parking allotment in deed since builder had not started the allocation of parking slots as building is under construction. However when i later showed interest in buying a stack parking slot builder has agreed to sell the parking slot at 2.5 lakhs however only via an allotment letter and not registering thru any addendum to the original sales deed. Please advise whether i should be buying parking slot basis only a allotment letter and how risky it safe it is Regards

The allotment of parking space by a letter will not confirm the rights over the parking space.

The builder cannot sell parking space, he is duty bound to allot a parking to each member.

Very well advised by learned senior expert Mr. T Kalaiselvan, which I endorse.

Builder cannot sell parking, it is illegal.

As per Supreme Court Judgment , builder can not sell open or stilt parking it comes under amenities but once society is formed it can allot to it's  members.

Sir, thanks for your prompt response.

However in my case i have approx 28 flat unit in building ans builder is providing approx same number of staxk parking considering 1 parking per unit so still is it not advisable to buy the parking slot via allotment letter

If the builder is selling the parking space then demand a separate registered sale deed for this, he will not do it.
