Query regarding handing over of property documents in a sale transaction.

The buyer of a Garage in a residential building asked the present Owner, who is the Seller, to hand over all the original documents of the garage property, under Sale.

Whether Seller must agree to the demand of the buyer or he can just provide the copies of the property documents?

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the seller's obligation to hand over original property documents to the buyer upon completion of a sale. The consensus is that the buyer is legally entitled to the original documents, including those for a garage, once the sale proceeds are finalised and the registered sale deed is executed. Sellers cannot refuse to provide these originals.

Seller should handover original documents of property ( garage ) to buyer if sell transactions have been completed.

The buyer is entitled to original documents pertaining to the property being sold to him and the vendor cannot refuse to part with the original documents at the time of executing the registered sale deed.

What do you mean by "under Sale"? The seller is legally obliged to handover the original document simutaneous with the completion of the sale proceeds.
