Can you please tell me this is good move or not?

I am in a confusion whether to file Quash pettiion in high court or attennd for court proceddings in magistrate court? Can you please tell me which is good idea? Which step will helpful for me?

Best option is to file quash petition in high court.

If you feel that it is a fit case for quash you may proceed after consulting an experienced lawyer in the local.

You will have to / should opt for both the aforesaid options wherein you are bound to appear before Magistrate and you should explore the possibility of getting the FIR quashed by High Court.

What is the opinion and advise of the lawyer engaged by you ?

You are still a student. How come you are the accused in a 498A case?
