Pvt. Criminal complaint

How many times can a petitioner be absent from appearing in court after giving a pvt. criminal complaint. If the Petitioner is an Accused in 2 cases i.e. DVC and child abuse where a FIR is registered against the Petitioner and the Petitioner is on AB, can the Petitioner give a pvt. criminal complaint against the same persons who filed the DVC and FIR. If the High Court has dismissed the Petitioner pvt. complaint can the Petitioner approach a lower court without mentioning that the High Court has dismissed the pvt. complaint.
