A LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) firm can purchase agricultural land in Karnataka, but with certain restrictions and conditions.
While the restrictions on who can purchase agricultural land have been relaxed, particularly for non-agriculturists, the use of the land must still be primarily for agricultural purposes.
Recent amendments to the Karnataka Land Reforms Act have generally allowed individuals and entities, including LLPs, to purchase agricultural land.
The primary condition is that the land must be used for agricultural purposes.
Any diversion of the land for non-agricultural activities requires obtaining necessary permissions and conversions.

After the amendment of the act, a company is eligible to buy agricultural land under certain conditions. The land can produce agricultural goods like pesticides, fertilisers, agricultural machinery, poultry, dairy, and fishery farms, but not any commercial activities.
