An article written by a person and published in a leading newspaper led to communal tension . The government moved to register a case against the Editor of the newspaper and the author. I would like to know if the author alone is responsible for the act or the editorial board of the newspaper could also be rounded up. What is the nature and extent of liability of both? The article did not in any way promote violence. Any leading cases of the Supreme Court on the subject.
