public prosecutor

when will a police officer can act as public prosecutor?

Quick Summary
A police officer cannot act as a public prosecutor. Their primary role is to investigate crimes, not to prosecute them. This distinction is crucial in legal proceedings, particularly concerning non-cognizable cases where their powers are limited to investigation.

Hello,
A police officer cannot act as a Public prosecutor. A police officer only has the power to investigate.
