Protection against forging a will

How does the law prevent someone taking thumb impression a dead person against an already prepared unsigned will., especjally if the dead person is literate and in position to sign.

It is to be acknowledged that for the sake of forgery, obtaining thumb impressions are a crime under the Indian Penal Code. Technically speaking, taking someone’s thumb impression isn’t a crime, but obtaining it and using it for unrequited means is a crime. The will or any such legal document can be contested in the court of law, wherein age determination of signatures can be contested.
