I need some information:

in case a bride's groom cannot afford alternate accomodation under the domestic violence act, what are other options?

if she has to reside in the mtrimonial home, is a protection officer appointed to live in the same residence since there may be threat to life? also is deliberate physical strain from husband and in laws resulting in damage to physical and mental health come under domestic violence? and what kind of case is filed in case of attempt to suicide due to mental torture in matrimonial home?

If possible, a separate portion will be given to her to stay.

No. Protection officer willl not live in the same residence. If really she is threatened, there is a provision in the Domestic Violence Act, that after her complaint that her husband or other members of in-laws created problems to her, the magistrate has got the power to put the culprit behind the bars along with imposing fine.

Yes. Abetment of suicide.
