Hello Sir,
I want to transfer my own flat to my mother. The cost of the same flat is 30 lacs. I understand that we just need an affidavit on a 500 rs stamp paper to transfer the property in blood relation as per the new GR. However I was told that I will need to pay 1% Registration fees + 1% LBT of the flat cost. Is it correct? Many thanks in advance.

i think registration fee pay nominal as per registration act.

Transfer of immovable property can be made by way of sale deed,gift deed,release deed,etc.Affidavit is not considered as a mode of transfer under the transfer of property act.
