on death of a person,it is patwari's duty to put the successors on role with in 21 days.and the said period commance from date of the death of deceased.if it was not done then go to ur thehsheel n meet ur patwari with ur id proof plus ration card.it wil be done free of cost.

U submit a death certificate of your father with your affidevit and application to the patwari's (Talati) then he make Pedhinamu (legal heair list) in present of two witness. Then after u or any legal heairs enter name in 7/12.

In that time all legal heairs submit some evidence like :- Birth certificate, License, Election card, Reson Card, PAN Card, School Leaving Certificate etc... for proof.
