Property tax

I have a common corridor with my brothers. We have done seperate mutation. And for common corridor We divided the corridor in to four parts( we are four brother). We all state the divided corridor parts in our mutation. Is this correct?

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses a common property tax query regarding a shared corridor amongst siblings. Although individual mutations have been made for divided parts of the corridor, the advice given is that property tax applies to the whole property. To legally resolve this, a registered deed is likely required to formally divide the common corridor and allocate specific extents to each individual.

Property tax is applicable on whole property and not its parts.

Mutating the common property on individual names will not solve the problem,  you may have to get the division of common corridor property executed by a registered deed giving the details of extent of allotment each individual.
