Property share certificate - lost/torn

Hi,

We have two cases in our cooperative housing society with regards to their share certificate. One person has lost his share certificate whereas the other person has his share certificate, but, it is tattered and torn. Can we issue duplicate share certificates to these two members? Please advise at the earliest. What is the process?
