Hello, House has been brought from a seller, after Two months we were given Legal notice by another person claiming house was already sold to him ten years ago by the previous owner (not from the owner we bought it from). We have a bank loan and completed registration according to the LAW. At the time of buying None of our background check had the person name who is claiming this property belongs to him. Please help, what are my options.

Contact and consult a local prudent lawyer for better appreciation of facts / documents and professional advise as it is impossible for experts to presume the ground(s) of claimant (who has stated to have purchased subject property 10 years ago).

Registered owner of house is having rights to sell the property of house. Individual ownership/ sole ownership of property. A single person is the only owner of a property when it is purchased and registered in his or her name.
