My father died intestate .we r four survivors.now my brother is delaying the process of partitioning the property thru mutual understanding.now what legal steps can i take for partitioning the same and get my share.can i file partiotion suit on my own for getting my share?plz tell me what exactly i need to do for filing a partition suit?

you have rightly said abt filing a partition suit. However, pls consult a loca civill lawyer and then proceed ahead.

File a suit for general partition and seperate possessession.
