Property issue

My father had two plots in one plot I contributed 40% amount and rest by my father, after some years we sell that plot and make 1st floor house, 1bhk 2 flats above floor and 1bhk at 1st floor.
land documents on my father name, now my concern can we register one flat in my name and 1 flat in brothers name, and what will be the further dispute can arise.
plz guide.

Contact a local advocate and get a family settlement deed acceptable to all duly registered to avoid such litigation in the future.

You need to make a settelement deed and mention every detail in the deed and get that signed by all the share holders... Or your father can gift you one of the falts exclusively while consedering lave and effection beside  having contributed in purchase of land and construction of house
