It depends upon which state the partnership firm registered, as every state has got their own laws for agricultural land, with certain veriations.

dear sir , two co-owners purchased a agricultural land in Jalgaon distrcit of maharashtra and thereafter transferred the property to the partnership Firm in which they became equal profit sharing partners . Their respective share in land was intorduced as their capital in the new Firm and no conveyance deed was registered or prepared . please guide how the Firm can still be the owner without conveyance deed under transfer of property act . The TPA states that every immovable property exceeding Rs 100 should be transferred compulsarily by registered deed . please suggest some case laws decided by High Court and if possible by supreme court . we want case laws mentioning that to be the owner of the property , conveyance deed is not necessary under TPA , please guide urgently regards Rajesh R Sharma Jalgaon [ Maharashtra ] 9373739955
