my mother's mom dad died many years ago. their inherited profety (agriculture land) is in the name of their sons and grandsons. can I legally try for that property?

my mother's mam dad died many years ago. their inherited property (agriculture land) is in the name of their sons (wife) and grand sons. can my mother (individual) legally try for property? (my mother have two sisters)
