My father has given one of his friends an amount of 1.5 lcas on 6 promisory notes.
Which he has not payed back.
We tried to get the money legally and sent legal notices but in vain.
Then we produced legally which is challenged by the counterparty saying that the notes are not valid.
But then we won the challenge.
Now our lawyer says we have to spend more money to actually get the money, which we doubt as we already won the chalenge.
We even tried to come to out of court settlement but is not happening.
Please suggest the way out.
