Process to transfer property intestate.

What is the property involved i.e., whether the property is agriculture, residential, industrial or commercial for transfer in the name of LRs of deceased ?

The Legal heirs are required to obtain a legal heirship certificate from the revenue department giving the full list of legal heirs to succeed to the estates of the deceased who is reported to have died intestate. 

Along with it and the death certificate,  an application to be submitted to the revenue department to transfer the revenue records from the name of the deceased to the legal heirs name. 

After that the legal heirs can decide to hold the property jointly or to amicably partition the same among themselves.
