Will a general diary against someone affect him or her during a police verification for a government job?

A police general diary (GD) entry alone will not typically affect your police verification for a government job. The key factor is whether an FIR or criminal complaint is pending trial. Unless an FIR has been officially registered against you, the GD records will not appear on your police clearance certificate.

That is not going to effect, only if an FIR ior criminal complaint is pending trail that effects

Unless a FIR is registered against the accused, the GD records will not reflect in the police clearance certificate.
