Hello Esteemed Colleagues,
I have a case tomorrow, the facts are that:-
· FIR was registered by my client and thereafter a counter FIR was registered against my client.
· The senior police official thereafter conducted enquiry on the basis of application given by accused in the first FIR and the police reversed the case and made my client as accused and presented the report against him.
· Now my query is that whether police has this power without filing cancellation of the two FIRS?
· The senior police official under which section has such power?
