My friend and her family are struggling with a false 498a.
Now she is in Dubai (married) and her husband is applying for Canadian PR. They are worried if her police clearance will come negative.
In the 498 A charge sheet her name is not there but when her sister-in-law filed the FIR, they mentioned her name.
Nobody knows how the PCC procedure is performed, is there any chance that her PCC will have something like red ?
Logically it looks like it should not be but you don't know, it completely depends on police's mood I guess.
There is also a domestic violence case they have filled. But according to our knowledge, PCC only cares about criminal cases.
Any guidance will be really helpful.
