Poa from abroad for sale of property in india

I am a resident of Delhi presently in US on visit here. Wish to clarify whether I can execute a POA in favour of my son  in India  at  the Indian embassy in US as its not possible to return for another few months for the sale of my property. Appreciate your response.   Tks   .  Rgds

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether an Indian resident currently in the US can execute a Power of Attorney (POA) in favour of their son in India for the sale of a property. The consensus is that it is indeed possible to execute a POA at the Indian embassy in the US. While this is a convenient option, especially if returning to India is not feasible in the short term, experts also advise considering personal registration of the sale deed if time permits.

If you are in some hurry you may execute PoA through embassy otherwise get the sale deed registered personally, as advised by learned experts, which I concur.
