plz clear my doubts

Is it possible for any Men/Women to get remarry without getting divorced from first partner... Actually one of my frnd told that in some situations it is possible but i don't think do..so kindly clear my doubts...

Hindu marriage act restrict remarriage without giving divorce to the first partner , if anybody do so then he/she will be punished for bigamy u/s 17 of HMA and u/s 494 ipc .

Thanks for ur reply Respected Laxmi Kant joshi ji.. that clearly means untill and unless someone is not divorced legally she/he cannot remarry...

Yes it is possible but only when one of the spouses is dead. Otherwise not possible without obtaining a formal divorce decree from the Hon'be court of Law.
