6. Probate is mandatory for immovable properties situated in West Bengal, Pondicherry,
Chennai and Mumbai. The Executor of the Will has to apply for the probate in the courts
concerned in these States.
7. Probate is not necessary in other States of India, especially so if the Will is a valid
registered document.

Dear Mr.Raj Kumar,
To my mind the probate of a will is valid for whole of India meaning thereby that resorting to this the Hon'ble Court invites and treates objections if any before granting the probate upon a petition moved before it so that the property of a testator can change hand legally, logically and umambiguously.
Kindly refer to the Transfer of Property Act, Law of Evidence and concerned High Court Rules in this regard.
