pls clarify this-
accused has been charged for the commision of offences under section 307, 120B, 506 read with 34 of indian penal code. when the sessions court framed the charges some technical errors were found and on the application made by the prosecution for the alteration of charges, the court after hearing both the sides allowed the application. now obviously the altered charges have to be read over to the accused. now my question is whther hearing before charge is there before reading over the altered charges to the accused? of course v have filed objection to the application made by the prosecution and also contested the same to our level best. now after allowing the application and before altered charges are read over to the accused whether defence counsil gets the chance to argue on the altered charges that is hearing before the charge?
