Pf amt withdrawal

I left my company where i used to work in 2007. I didn't claimed for the PF amt. till now. Now I want to withdraw the PF amt. It's almost 4 years. Pl. suggest can I still withdraw the amount. & incase the employer doesn't approve for it then can i still claim the amount directly approaching the PF Office.

Mr narayann has guided you well. as EPF Scheme framed under EPF&MP Act 1952 (which PF official do not read) the employer is liable for prosecution if refusing to attest the withdrawal form.
