Permission of court not required by clb for compounding

Dear friends,

Supreme Court in its order dated 10.5.2013 (copy attached) has held that Company Law Board does not need permission of court u/s 621A(7) of Companies Act 1956 for compounding of offence under the Act involving imprisonment or with fine or with both.  Court has held that in such cases both CLB and court have power to compound the offence.
