Hello everyone,
In the topic posted by Mr. Arun Kumarji "Family Law: Perjury: How to file; some more gyan," I came across 3rd point of Elements of Perjury..........
Express provisions of law include--- Plaints, Written Statements, and other pleadings.
My query is, when a wife files a false case u/s 200 crpc (written complaint), is she guilty of perjury?

Yes if the finding of court is that, case found to be false. One thing is to be clear that question of perjury may be invoked only for false evidence in court or for filing of false affidavit.
