pay protection to ex SSC officer on reemployment in PSU

I am a MBBS doctor. I had served in the Indian Air Force, as a Short service commissioned officer (Ex SSCO) for 5 yrs and released on 25 Apr 13. At the time of retirement from IAF, my basic pay was 21250 and grade pay was 6600. SSC officers are not granted any pension benefits. After that i was self employed till 31 jan 15. Now i am going to join NPCIL (a central govt psu) where they are joining me in pay scale of 15600-39100 with grade pay of 5400. Now my queries are as follows- 1. Am I eligible for pay protection ? 2. If yes, how it will be applied ? and under which rule/orders?
