Patta transfer

If a person "x" gives a release dead in favour of person "y,z" within a family after her marriage then the group patta of x,y,z can be transferred in name of y,z ?.. is it right procedure or which is the best practise . Please advise !!

Yes, a deed of rease or relinquishment in favour of Y Z would entitle them to have the patta corrected / modified by removing the name of  X from original patta... The deed would required to be properly stamped and registered with concerned sub registrar...

@ pervez : Thank you very much sir.  Could you please tell me how a release would be made more stronger.

1) Just properly stamped and registered with concerned sub registrar... ?

2) Any number of witness is required from both sides ?

3) Will the officials issue new patta or it would be older one with modified document attached ?

1. Yes.

2. Two witnesses

3. New Patta will be issued on your application, after due verfication by the concerned officer.
