I have planned to file a rental case as party in person. Applicants are 2 persons. kindly advise me by clarifying my queries :
1. mandatory to get affidavit from another applicant.
2. TamilNadu court fee for rent case.
Thanks in afvance.

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses filing a rental case as a 'party in person' with two applicants. Key queries include whether an affidavit is mandatory from both applicants and the specific court fees for rental cases in Tamil Nadu. Advice suggests obtaining affidavits from both petitioners and consulting local legal professionals for accurate court fee information, while also recommending thorough procedural understanding for self-representation.

Q 1 Yes, it is required to be obtained from both the petitioners.

Q 2 Stamp duty / Court fees differs from State to State, seek guidance of a local lawyer / clerk / typist.

Q 3 Before proceeding as party in-person you must be thorough in procedure and be able to reply all the questions which the Court may put to you. In your own interest it is advisable to seek service of a local prudent lawyer for appreciation of facts / documents, professional guidance and necessary proceedings

Why is it that there are two applicants?
