parents maintainence act

what are the circumstances under which the father can demand maintainance from daughter?

My Uncle is 84 yrs old, earns Rs.4500/- per month as pension.....he is a sick man..... has neurological problem, cardiac problem, urological problem and few other related ailments and is under treatment from FORTIS hospital mohali... his medical expenses are really high....i have taken up his responsibility and i bear all his expenses.

he has a daughter who doesnot take his responsibility.she is married in haryana....my uncle stays in punjab...

can he file a case to get maintainence from his daugter.

his daughter has filed a case against him to get share in his property

I have sent this file to you ...... I hope your uncle pursues the case and kicks his daughters ass ... for not looking after him in old age. Parents spend a lifetime looking after their children and then are deserted in old age.
