Parents eligibility

If a person dies when his parents are seniors and still alive, can the parents inherit the deceased's wealth along with deceased's wife and children

Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether parents are eligible to inherit from their deceased child, especially when the deceased leaves behind a wife and children. The consensus is that inheritance follows the deceased's personal laws. For Hindus, for instance, the mother is considered a Class I heir, meaning parents can indeed be beneficiaries under specific legal frameworks.

The property shall devolve upon LRs of deceased as per personal laws of deceased.

Yes, personal laws apply. If a Hindu, Mother is a Class I heir.

Dear Mr. Venu,

Thank you for this really refreshing information. May I request you to kindly give me appropriate law reference.
