Parent Document missed by party

One of the Parent original document in a chain of title deed is misplaced by one of the parties.  What is the legal procedure to make the documents as valid for offering as security to Bank.

Dear Sir, Thank you for your valuble advice. I have one more doubt in this matter.  That is, the Compliant in PS  shall be given by the present owner of the property or by the person who was the owner of the lost Original Deed ? Because, after the sale is completed, no one is willing to act to our words.  Or mere paper publication is just enough for the missing Original Document, instead of lodging complaint with PS and filing FIR which would be combursome process and it will not serve our purpose.  The police Department only issues the nor treaceable certificate.  Will this serve the purpose? Please guide me ...
