Ownership transfer of land after fathers death

Hi,

My father purchased a land in the outskirts of Pune, Maharashtra. Purchase deed is registered on my fathers name and we did not get any time to make 7/12 extract of the land. Now, my father is no more and i want to make a 7/12 extract of the land on my name. Please suggest how to proceed further.
