Open Parking

If the project is RERA registered then is it mandatory to provide Open Parking in that project?

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies that RERA registration does not directly mandate the provision of open parking spaces. RERA's scope is limited to resolving disputes between property buyers and sellers. The approval of parking facilities, including open parking, falls under the purview of local authorities and their established norms. However, RERA can intervene if there's a breach of contract, such as advertising a parking area that isn't subsequently delivered to purchasers.

RERA is not concerned with approvals.  RERA deals with disputes in between purchasers and sellers of properties only.  Parking and approvals are to be approved by local authorities as per laid down norms.  If there is a violation of the contractual terms like showing a parking area but not delivering it to purchasers etc comes within the purview of the RERA.
