Symbiosis Law School, Pune

 

Symbiosis Law School, Pune is organizing an Open Consultation on “Recommendation for Prevention of heinous crimes against women with reference to Rape and Sexual assault” as part of its Law Reform initiatives on 3rd January 2013 at the Symbiosis Law School Auditorium from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm.

 

The Open Consultation offers a unique opportunity to share and suggest recommendations towards the major challenge before India today. The recommendations and suggestions generated in the house would become part of the Report to be sent to the Committee headed by Justice J. S. Verma with respect to the crimes perpetuated towards women.

 

Programme shall see presentations on Rape Laws followed by consultation in the presence of learned panelist and Law Students.

 

Padmabhushan Dr.  S. B. Mujumdar, Founder and Chancellor Symbiosis International University, Dr. Manju Singh, Head SIRI, all the Directors of Symbiosis International University, Dr Vaijayanti Joshi, Principal ILS, Pune and Dr. Shashikala Gurpur, Fulbright Scholar, Director, Symbiosis Law School and Dean, Faculty of Law, Symbiosis International University, Pune shall be present to grace the occasion.
