Notice Period

Dear Law Experts,

Will the contractual employment  attract notice period or compensation in place of notice period?  Because basically we are into project business.  

What will be the act & section and also the compensation?

it depends on the nature of the work say you have contractual work, but 

your project is such that the same person can services can be availed at different places or

say nature of work, whether it is required on daily basis i.e. permanent employment till the contract or

temporary employment.

for further details if company is working as Contractors, then it requires to verify the particular details from the Contract Labour & Regulation Act.

notice period will be applicable to the company.
