Non-law graduate would like to study law, what is the route?

Hi,

I have a B.Eng(Hons) SW degree in Aerospace and Astronautics Engineering at Kingston University, London. I also have 2yrs of work experience in the 3D printing industry.

I have moved back to India this January after almost 7 years. My ambition is to open an NPO (Non-Profit Organization) World Class Educational Establishment which would have a core value of bringing Creativity into classrooms. I want to work with young minds to be the SOLUTIONARIES of the society.

I want to study law. I would prefer either an online law school, or a correspondence mode one. I was also wondering if I would get some credit for the degree i have finished and get some exemption....

I am quite interested in Cyber Law. What colleges are there in India which would let me study it in correspondence mode?

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Pash

I know this might sound a little far fetched,
do I have to go through LLB route, or is there anyway to go for LLM by doing some mandatory classes/exams?

There is no correspondence course for LL.B.   You have to study as regular college student... Your qualification will be considered as Bachelor Degree.. I feel that maximum age limit for joining is 30 years.. Please check your age...IGNOU offers only Diploma Courses in Specialised Law subjects like cyber law, Intellectual Prpoerty etc... You can check from their website..
