I am working in a Public sector Bank. I am working as an officer in a specialist cader. Recently I had applied for another post advertised in another Public sector Bank by way of direct recuritment- higher category post of specialist cadre.I had submitted my application online. I was selected and called for an interview. One of the conditions was that I should obtain NOC for attending interview form my present employer. I applied for issuance of NOC to appear for interwiew. I being a specialist cadre officer, under the policy framed by the present Bank, my request is declined. On the sole ground that as per the policy framed by the Bank [present employer], I was not issued NOC to attend interview.
Is it justified? What is my remedy and recourse?
