Need voter id or ration card details of person since 1960 beyond for civil case

Hi -  One of the neighbour has filed original suit case against us stating that his grand father and my grand father shares same name but land belongs to him. Now we know that his grand father name was not same as our grand father's name but we dont have any proof, can we get voterid details or ration card details of person from any department to match the names for my grand father and our grand father?

What is procedure to get all of these details?

Quick Summary
A neighbour has filed a civil case claiming shared land ownership based on similar grandfather names. You need to obtain historical voter ID or ration card details dating back to 1960 to prove the names are different. The plaintiff bears the burden of proof in this case, and you can challenge their evidence with your own supporting documents.

The burden lies on them to prove their case, who rely upon such information, let them provide the documentary evidences which you can dispute and challenge based on merits and other supporting documents in your possession.

Yes, it is for the plaintiff (the person who has filed the case) to prove his averments/pleading.
