Sometime back while surfing I read a judgement where the wife was burned and given her death statement against her husband before Magistrate and then died and in this case the High Court/Supreme court kept the lower court judgement kept aside by stating that "when matrimonial disputes were there it is quite common that girls will give statements against their husbands and husband relatives and if there are no any other evidences against the husband then punishing the husband just based on her death statement is not correct"
